Starting from 22 February, TX Logistik is expanding its intermodal connections between Germany and Italy by increasing the number of weekly round trips from 4 to 6 on the Rostock-Verona route due to the high demand for trailer transports by rail.
The company has also increased the number of trains to Italy on other routes in the first few weeks of the year. Furthermore, TX Logistik has added more intermodal trains between Lübeck and northern Italy, with an additional eighth round trip added to the service.
The company has also increased the number of round trips on the second Lübeck connection to the Milan metropolitan region by two, with the Segrate terminal now being served instead of Melzo, which is closer to the metropolis of Milan and the industrial areas of Bergamo and Brescia.
Additionally, Mercitalia connections to other destinations in the Italian railway network, such as Rome, Naples, and Sicily, can also be utilized from the Segrate terminal.
