Black and Caspian Freight Forum 2025: corridors, cargos, infrastructure is an in-person networking platform for the experts from the Black and Caspian Seas logistics market this year will take place in 2 days format in the vibrant city of Baku in Azerbaijan, on September 9-11 in the Four Seasons Hotel Baku.
- 9th September – evening cocktail reception (approximate time 18:00 – 21:00)
- 10th September – a full-day conference, exhibition, pre-scheduled B2B meetings, closing gala-dinner (9:00 – 22:00)
- 11th September – a technical site visit to the ABSHERON LOGISTICS CENTER (10:00 – 14:00)

✅ With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Yuriy has held leadership roles including Head of the Kherson Region State Administration, General Director of the Ukrainian Defense Industry State Concern, and Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, where he also led the Reforms Council.
✅ His professional background covers key areas such as defense reform, investment and innovation policy, infrastructure, finance, and environmental protection, while his academic expertise as a Professor and invited lecturer at leading universities highlights his contribution to strategic business development and international cooperation.

✅ Mr. Jafarov has a strong background in business development, project management, and strategic planning, with extensive experience in international logistics, oil trading, and renewable energy projects. He holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs from Lund University and has completed various professional training courses. Speaks fluent in Azeri, English, Russian, and Turkish.

✅ Before that, Liliana held such an important position as Managing Director of RZDL Europe Kft. in Budapest, Hungary and CEO in FAR EAST LAND BRIDGE Group in Austria.
✅ In addition, Liliana Krutonog held senior positions in such companies as Rail Cargo Logistics and CD Cargo a.s. (Czech Railways), contributing significantly to the strategy, business development and intermodal projects connecting China with Europe.



✅ He performed MSC Antalya Branch Manager and MSC Turkey Global Accounts Manager roles in MSC Turkey. He was appointed to the Managing Director position of MSC Georgia in 2015 and he’s also the Board Member of MEDLOG Transport & Logistics Georgia.

✅ For more than eight years, Olzhas has held leadership positions, responsible for strategy and business development, and since 2021, he has been overseeing the company's development direction. His work is related to the implementation of large projects in the field of transport logistics and the development of international transport corridors.



✅ From 2011 to 2019, he worked in various structural divisions of the railway industry in the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy". Since the end of 2019, he has held a leadership position in the structural division of Deutsche Bahn in the Republic of Kazakhstan, representing the companies DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH and DB Cargo Eurasia.

✅ Aizhan serves as the Chair of International Association “Women in Trade Logistics Partnership (TLP) Central Asia & Caucasus”, contributing to the advancement of women's professional development, changing the role of women in supply chain, promoting inclusive leadership, and fostering gender diversity across the logistics industry in Central Asia.
✅ Aizhan has extensive experience in developing logistics-specific trade, cross-border procedural simplification, and the efficiency of economic corridors.

✅ As Chairperson of the Central Asia Transport and Logistics Partnership (TLP), she leads cross-border dialogue and harmonization efforts among Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan – key stakeholders in the Middle Corridor's expansion and policy alignment.

✅ Werner Peeters has successfully led international projects of up to €50 million across various industries. His global experience spans the EU, Russia, and India, with extended engagements in China, Japan, the Middle East, and Africa.

✅ He continued his career in senior positions in various government agencies. In 2022, he began working as the head of the legal department of Sara Logistics LLC, and in 2024 he was appointed director of this enterprise.
✅ He lectured at various universities on international trade, logistics and international law, continuing his academic activities in this area.

✅ Skilled in managing intermodal and transport projects, analyzing routes and cargo flows, and building strategic partnerships with national rail operators and governments across Europe, Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.
✅ Passionate about sustainability, logistics innovation, and fostering international cooperation.


✅ Mikheil's background includes roles as Station Manager of Georgia in Aramex, as well as different top management and business development roles in various international and local transportation companies.
✅ His expertise spans sea, land and air freight, showcasing a commitment to expanding connectivity between countries and contributing to business growth within the dynamic transportation industry.


✅ He is a certified expert at USAID (American Agency for Development), CILT (Royal Institute of Transport and Logistics), QID (Kazakh Association of Independent Directors), Member of the Board of Business Association of Entrepreneurs «KIT».
✅ According to the results of the open competition, he was elected to the Public Council of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Order 126 of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 13 December 2023), within which he works on the development and promotion of the transport industry of the country.
