EUROPE-ASIA INTERMODAL LOGISTICS 2023: NEW SILK WAY SHAPING is an in-person networking platform for the European and Eurasian logistics experts that will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on April 25-26.

Today, the European transport system is actively developing and adapting to changed geopolitical realities. This dynamic facilitates the development of new services, routes, and infrastructure.

At the conference, leading speakers will consider both the development of the intra-European logistics system and routes connecting Asia and Europe. Also we will talk about European infrastructure development and it’s for readiness for increasing flow of goods from Asia.

Additionally to the conference, there will also be an exhibition area which will make your participation more effective.

Within the framework of the program is planned a technical field trip to the one of the logistics area of Amsterdam.

✅ Ralf-Charley Schultze was responsible during five years within the freight department of the Swiss railways (SBB Cargo) for the combined traffic, the automotive business and the partner management. From 2009 to 2013 he was director for multimodal logistics within the GEFCO group, responsible for the development of multimodal business all over Europe, with a strong focus on Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia.

Since 1 January 2014, Ralf-Charley Schultze is President of the UIRR, the international union for road-rail combined transport in Brussels.

▶️ Imad Jenayeh has started working in the logistics industry in 2008. After 10 years in different management positions at CargoBeamer Leipzig, he joined the CFL multimodal Group as Senior Business Development Manager. Since then he's been mainly in charge of developing the railway motorway network (shifting semitrailers from road to rail) connecting the multimodal hub of Bettembourg/Luxembourg to main economic zones in Europe. In addition to that he has been developing partnerships with Luxembourg in the context of One Belt One Road.

▶️ CFL multimodal is a multimodal logistics service provider, covering the entire logistics chain. With 11 companies in 5 European countries, CFL multimodal and its sister company CFL cargo offer a broad, high-quality and personalized service portfolio: combined and conventional rail freight, wagon maintenance and repairs, customs clearance, as well as forwarding and logistics services.

Since 2020 – chairman of the board of Extron Baltic – privately owned multipurpose terminal in Port of Riga.

▶️ Christoph is an experienced manager with excellent knowledge within the European intermodal industry and strong focus on multimodal business development as well as short sea shipping. Within several roles during his career he was covering different geographical areas across Europe and successfully developed and implemented intermodal projects and expands networks.

▶️ Christoph joined Duisport in March 2020, since August 2022 he is responsible for the Intermodal Strategy of the port.

▶️ Johan has held many positions in freight forwarding throughout Europe, also becoming involved in merger and acquisition activities, and Intercontinental Rail product development, a solution which has moved now from experimental to main stream.

▶️ In 2016 Johan started his own company and acquired the agency for the Guangzhou Port Group in Europe. He works for them from The Hague covering the European market.

▶️ Besides of this agency he also recently became the representative for continental Europe for one of the main Chinese Freight forwarders.
