In the last few years, we can observe rapidly growing volumes of coal, iron ore and metal transportation by inland waterways in Europe in case of steel production increase and high gas prices as long as other cargoes stay at the same level.
Russian aggression against Ukraine has also significantly changed Europe’s transport system, particularly in the transport of agricultural products.
Today we need to be ready to change volumes and market conditions in fleet and infrastructure.
